SAN LUIS OBISPO — Judge Charles Crandall is quick to correct anyone who refers to his assignment as juvenile delinquency.
“Now we call it juvenile justice,” he said.
The word “delinquency” connotes a negative stigma, and there’s often a reason why minors break the law, Crandall said.
