SAN JOSE — She is the first Filipino appointed to the Santa Clara County Superior Court, but Judge Audra Ibarra didn’t expect much fanfare.
“When I was sworn in on Jan. 2, I thought it would be just my family and a couple of friends in the audience,” she said of the 2019 ceremony. “I mean, it’s the holidays. ... Everybody’s on vacation.”
